A thick fog subdued the Canada day fireworks, then was suffocated by a major thunderstorm. The Thunderbird came down from Amneki Mountain, to remind us what Thunder Bay fireworks are. I heard the lightning’s whip travel from distant blocks like giant dominoes hitting each other, creating a ripple in the foundations, to arrive under my feet and carry on down the land. Everything became microscopic.
